Soda Springs	Goshawk notes: launched from snag directly above me and after circling overhead a couple of times flew off down Klickitat Canyon.
	Clear View of tail and flight feathers in afternoon sun. Broad wings and tail with dark & light gray barring. Looked exactly like the
	photo in Birds of the Pacific Northwest. Have seen this bird before in this area/sector in past years.
Klickitat Canyon	Swallow, sp. Were dark (brown) above and light underneath. After watching them, I initially concluded that they wer Northern Rough-
	winged Swallows. However, I since learned that NRWS are rare for this are, this time of year, so I have indicated the groups as swallow, sp.
	They didn't appear to be either VGSW of TRSW (or CLSW). Another possibility is BASW but I don't think so.
Sundale/Alderdale	Mule deer 3 - 1m, 2f -  coyote 1
South Central	Black Phoebe notes: 2 Black Phoebes @ Ferguson Rd (off Fenton Rd.) pond, size similar to nearby YR Warblers, very bright white only on abdomen not going up
	the breast contrasting with dark black on rest of body, no white on tail viewed for 15 minutes sitting quietly on low branch occasionly going
	To the water’s edge for insect. I have previous experience sighting the species in Oregon, and numerous times in S. Texas and SW. U.S..
